  14. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical performance and durability of anterior etched porcelain veneers. The study population consisted of 33 patients with discolored or malpositioned teeth. A total of 183 Cerinate® veneers were placed on the enamel facial surfaces of maxillary and mandibular anteriors and premolars. Patients were recalled for collection of long-term data at periods of 120 months " 190 months with a mean of 149.5 months 12.5 years. There was 100% retention of the veneers over the period of this study. Over the duration of this study, of the patients that were able to be recalled, 94% of the restorations were clinically successful. One hundred seventy-two of one hundred eighty-three placed veneers remained with only 11 veneers needing replacement due to severe trauma. Results indicate that Cerinate porcelain veneers cemented with Ultra-Bond were highly successful over the period of this study.
